In this concise update on the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kings and Generals delve into three pivotal areas: the Avdiivka front, the Dnipro River crossing, and the recent arrival of ATACMS missiles.

In the Avdiivka sector, Russia persists in its offensive operations, despite initial setbacks. Ukrainian forces successfully defended against a Russian assault from October 10-14, inflicting substantial losses on the Russian army. However, the Russian army continues its efforts to gain ground in the region.

On the Dnipro River, Ukraine has managed to establish a bridgehead on the left bank near the Antonivskyi bridge. While Russian forces have been countering these attempts, Ukraine’s success in creating a sustainable bridgehead could force Russia to divert reserves from other fronts.

A significant development in the conflict is the arrival of ATACMS long-range missiles in Ukraine. After months of negotiations, these missiles, although in limited numbers, have already had a substantial impact. Ukraine launched ATACMS missiles on Russian airfields, causing significant damage to Russian air assets.

Foreign military support continues, with Western nations providing aid to Ukraine. However, the level of support has decreased recently. Other countries, including Germany, Croatia, and Denmark, have increased their assistance with various military equipment and resources.

The Ukraine conflict continues as a brutal and unprovoked invasion by Russia now spans 20 months. Both sides engage in a prolonged war of attrition, with Ukraine reliant on foreign military aid, while Western support remains a complex and evolving issue. The conflict’s toll is evident in significant losses on both sides.

  2. I enjoy your programs I wish we could watch more of them. Unfortunately, YouTube has band your program from subscription. Their excuse is, it’s too much violence. I’ve seen more damn violence and other programs on Ukraine, so what’s the big deal? Anyway sorry to hear that I tried to subscribe several times and was denied access because of this band on your program and your program is not the only one it’s been banned anyway love your program. Hope I can find it more often on YouTube even though I cannot subscribe to it. I am deeply sorry that I cannot do so.

  3. This is Mr. Putin's war. He's the apex of a top-down command and control structure, and this whole endeavor is largely driven his impetus, while his long duration at the top of the roost in Russia's hierarchy has made the entire nation critically dependent on his exercise of authority. Putin's past the life expectancy of males in Russia, and Russia's in a race against time – to lock in some tangible results before he keels over. Once he's gone, there's no more apex, and a huge vacuum is left behind, because you're practically a generation out of any experience for an authority-base in all those places gutted out by and encroached upon by Putin. It's going to be chaos, with too many chefs in the kitchen, while the fires from the burners left untended spread out of control

  4. This is why I hated all of the shit talking about Russia at the start of this war. I'm not arguing they got off to terrible start, but Russia's one of the few countries that can afford to do that.

  5. Looks like a stalemate to me with Ukraine slowly losing the propaganda war and the West getting tired of sending money and weapons. The much vaunted 'Ukrainian counteroffensive' never materialized. My guess is that eventually the Ukrainians will have to sue for peace and give up a substantial portion of their land and agree never to join NATO.

  6. The United States is over 30 trillion in debt. Financing another country’s war, shouldn’t be high on its priority list. Ukraine is asking nato, to finance its war with Russia, when Ukraine isn’t a nato member.
