  1. For anyone who thinks this is real (believe me I've seen people think this is real) I can assure you it's not.

Warning that this is long and also very critical

    1. I've tested it. I didn't get any kind of message about being a developer upon naming my character "U53RDV". I've seen people argue that it's because it has to be in Spanish or on the PC. It was the PC version, but regardless, I'll get back to these supposed requirements.

    2. I once tried to visually mod the game. This didn't go anywhere (due to not having any kind of idea of what I wanted to do) but I know there are no sad sunflower sprites or bloody sprites in the game. The most gory things in the game (yes, even the files) are cartoony brains, zombie arm bones, and the neck after a zombie loses their head upon death. All of these are encountered in normal gameplay.

    3. I promise if this was real, it would be much more well known (especially in the PvZ community) due to the problems it would cause for Popcap. If the code wasn't discovered early on by a modder, the person affected would've likely been in the news.

But enough about the meta. Let's get to the story itself.

    4. A keyboard smash isn't gonna get you "U53RDV". Assuming a standard keyboard layout:
    * You can't get from U to 6 without going over either 7 and 6 or Y and 6.
    * You can't go from 5 to 3 without going over 4, and this is regardless of keyboard layout, since laptops don't have number pads (those 3×3 areas with all the numbers) on their keyboards.
    * You can't go form 3 to R without either going over 4 again or going over E.
    * You can't go from D to V without either going over F or C.
    * Suffice to say, "U53RDV" as a keyboard smash is just… not possible.

    5. Maybe it's a translation error, but if not, why would the game say "warning" about dev mode? Having a note makes sense. Making it say "warning" doesn't.

    6. The blue screen of death with a zombie. Did the game force a fake blue screen of death, or did the developer make the game change the real blue screen?

    7. BTW the guy recording himself slamming the laptop down is kind of funny because why would he do that?

    8. I promise, if your laptop gets hot while playing and the next day it's still hot, unless you just so happen to live in a place where everything's hot, your computer is probably possessed. It shouldn't take that long to cool down. BTW this isn't a cursed or possessed game, it's a rogue developer.

    Speaking of said developer…

    9. So this former dev hacked into Popcap to modify the game? Surely they have some kind of security or would notice strange code or image files.

    10. Also the purpose is revenge and to steal people's data apparently. But the steps to do this are oddly specific. You need to have the username U53RDV, and the chances of someone stumbling on it by accident are low.

    11. And if you believe those people who say it only works on the PC and only in Spanish, the chances drop even lower.

    12. The person emailed the player. What if they don't have an email? What if they have multiple? How would the hacker know which one is the right one? Did the email send as soon as they logged in on the same computer? If not, what if they checked their email on a different device? Seriously, this hacker's plan has way too many flaws.

    13. Also, even if they do see the email on the right device, at the end of the video, it's stated that the person deleted the game before reading the email, which apparently saved them. I think most people would delete the game if it crashed their computer and altered the BSoD.

    14. And if they didn't, upon seeing the email, a person would likely try to wipe their hard drive. Take their computer to an expert. Maybe even get a whole new computer.

    15. Also, saying "I hacked you and I'm stealing your data" would probably result in them calling the cops. The cops then trace where the email's from using IPs or something, and the hacker's arrested. Nobody old enough to get a job working on a video game, or smart enough to hack into Popcap's servers and code an entire alternate version of a game would be stupid enough to admit to a serious crime in a way that could easily get then arrested. There's not even a "don't go to the cops or get a new computer or else I'll leak your data to bad people" or anything like that.

  2. "Do not bother trying to uninstall it, once this email is marked as read, a virus will be downloaded that will force your computer to have the game permanently installed." Haha that's awesome! Thanks for the tip! Very cool!

  4. I hope you come back your creepypastas are amazing! I remember waiting for the next creepypasta to come out, and that was dark flower. you are my favorite youtuber! but here's a bad creepypasta idea you should make the main character have 3 other friends and 2 of them live but every part of the videos if there would be others 1 of his friends is left alive. Then the rest could be up to you if you do my idea
