  1. Branch Manager's acting all tough. he's absolutely not tough at all. he's a wuss. you can't violate somebody's First Amendment rights with a policy or even a law, because it's in the Constitution and it's protected. And you're managing a library, go look up some resources on the Constitution and you're rights. you have the source of knowledge at your fingertips and yet you like to be ignorant.

  2. Why do these so-called professional police officers think they can talk any way they feel to the public, their masters. Idiots, you're biting the hand that feeds you, stupid! It's not professional, it's not courteous, and it's not respectful. those three tenants are what make up police officers public duties. These two punks missed the mark completely. big fail!

  3. That white cop Edward lies with a straight face. he says he wants his name only to know who he's talking to. we've heard all that before officer. you're full of crap! You would just love to go find out personal information about this person to be able to harass him, to be able to retaliate. you know, violate more constitutional rights!

  4. Officers do not have the right to ask you for your ID unless you are detained or arrested for a crime. It's wrong that they have a right to ask. no they do not. they have to have a reason, a lawful reason to ID you. There is no such thing as a stop and ID state.

  5. So Sgt was willing to trespass you which is a de facto arrest. that is enough for a lawsuit and a complaint. file both promptly and wipe the smile off their faces. also do complaints against all the library staff especially that stupid manager. Sgt violated policy by leaving his computer screen open with information displayed. What a horrible example!

  9. This would have been a real test as a silent audit. They were so twisted trying to make a constitutionally protected activity into a crime. The test here was feelings vs law. Policy is for the public employees to follow. If the LEO's understood that when they arrive the audit is almost complete. They come, they investigate, they ask if it's ok to violate a law abiding citizens rights but the citizen declines and then it's over but the LEO's decide to stand around to watch a law abiding citizen do a constitutionally protected activity from a public space. Then the sargent shows up, steps in to imeadeatly violate the law abiding citizens 1st amendment rights to record in a public space whatever he can see from that public space. Once he is forced by threat of arrest to leave no arrest is necessary as standing has already been acquired.
