Tyler Durden: Sigma or Just Stupid?

#tylerdurden #bradpitt #fightclub
This film, released 78 days before the end of the world (October 15, 1999), hit like a tornado and became a manifesto for anti-consumerism and authentic living. For turning away from the daily drudgery and materialism that had hypnotized society. He shakes what it means to be a man, a real man.

And we wanted to talk about the man behind every event in the film, Tyler Durden, in more detail than ever. Is he really a sigma, or just a madman?

  2. It's kinda a rediculous idea that Durden is in any way sigma… He's super-beta… he's so super-fucking-beta-max that he had to 'imaginary friend' his own alpha. A sigma does not rely on an army, a partner, an imaginary friend, Meatloaf or even a real friend – the whole bloody point of sigma is that you get the shit done on your own terms, regardless of others failures. If you want an example of the perfect sgima male, watch Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino.

  3. Bro sigmas are stupid. I believe in another type of man. People who promote andrew tate are sad men and even if some of the things the sigma mindset says is true to an extent there us a different and better way you can go about being a man. And even if sigmas only spoke facts , they speak it in an aggressive toxic way. "Sigmas" like andrew tate create ass holes even if thet were to make good points. I believe in what Jordan peterson said. You shouldn't have to be manly , only do it when you need to , when someone else brings it out of you. They also say no one is unique but by being sigmas they are just proving that right more and more. Soon there will be a new vision for proper man kind.
Men be respectful , be powerful , be you.

  4. "Not caring about" means being not emotionally invested in. In the movie he is supposed to convince/polarise polarised people and for that he happens to largely invests in the world, but negatively (destructively). If that wouldn't have been there, the movie had not existed and Tyler Durden would've been depressed for two reasons:
    1) He isn't seen as he doesn't matter enough inspire a lead character in a film. Imagine if your personal ways were shown and appreciated in a movie, you'd want to first take the credit for their discovery whether you continue it, or not [as a rebel].
    2) He has nowhere to use his instinctual energy for survival.
Energy GOT TO BE directed SOMEWHERE. "Sigma" is overrated if this is Sigma. Homo sapiens CARE. It just means having self respect. If you've lost it competely, you've also lost faith, and lost the will to exist and matter, which is also known as fuckin depression. That's why it's a movie, a GREAT one but some things are just unrealistic just to push the AWESOME messages it promotes though. "Dreams are sold, reality is not."

One can also argue that because he is convincing polarised people by polarising them against something, he stared in the abyss and the abyss stared back at him (ref: Friedrich Nietzsche quote), and coz he never cared, he moved on with the people. Just reminding, "sigmas" are supposed to be men of ideals. Idk this can go round and round..
