Two people killed after driving into flooded road and getting trapped in Liverpool



TRIBUTES have been paid to a couple after they were found dead when their car became trapped underwater in heavy rain.

Philip and Elaine Marco were travelling in their black Mercedes A180 in Mossley Hill, Liverpool, on Sunday night.

Liverpool city council have blood on their hands, the flooding has been going on for as long as I can remember, the condition of the roads is embarrassing in Liverpool, I'm sick and tired of excuses this should not happen at all, yet it takes something like this to show us all this can happen, im gutted.. god bless the couple my up must condolences to the family's who have lost there loved ones..

  2. We really need some very basic survival advice…thiswas so so preventable.

    I can’t help wondering how many people just stood and watched this happening.

    We really need to start loving thy brother again (or whatever it is I’m no Christian- maybe I should be a dunno but this is just sad)

  3. It's reliving to know that, should you ever be faced with a situation where you're fighting for your life, clearly helpless, people who are within 50m will run to your aid… oh no wait, they'll just film it.
