it sucks they cut the multiplayer and made the price more than turok 1 and 2. Still think its impressive what they did with turok 3 though and I just hope they make rage wars somehow and evolution remasters.
Брат, ты замечательно придумываешь сатирические заголовки для своих видео, мне ооочень приятно не просто смотреть твои ролики и соглашаться с твоим мнением – даже просто прочесть заголовок твоего нового видео уже хорошо🥰🥰🥰
I'm guessing that Nightdive expected it to go back to obscurity pretty quickly, so hopefully this has no effect on Rage Wars. I don't get why they scrapped the multiplayer though, since they could've just made it local multiplayer and not many people would complain. It might've been a sacrifice they made to focus more on the main game (which they did a great job with) but it's not worth it in the long run, considering that the overall package of Turok 3 already didn't have much going for it.
I also delayed my playthrough for the game and will finally be playing it this month, so a surprise update wouldn't hurt 👀Problem is, lack of playerbase means lack of incentive or motivation to do that.
This so called 'best' version of Turok 3 has a whole mode missing. Everytime i pointed it out all i would get is weak excuses "no one would play it anyway". Imagine remasteting Devil May Cry 3 and having no Bloody Palace mode.
It would have been great if for Turok remasters we had some new campaigns like they did for Quake, it could have lead to maybe simpler, less confusing level design, with more enemies, more action orientated than exploration.
About any multiplayer mode, it has to have bots in my opinion, I don't have enough skill to play against humans, and I don't want to spend hours grinding for a multi either, solo game all day but I'm not against killing bots, yes.
I don't understand this hate for short games. Turok 2 is incredibly padded out and more than overstays it's welcome. I'd rather quality over quantity.
As for replayibility in Turok 3, You can play as two different characters who use different weapons and have alternative paths ( this part could've been done better)
If you're reading this comment, head over to Night Dive Studios and tell them how much you want a remaster of Turok: Evolution, we are getting closer and closer!
A few to note. Nightdive Studios MAIN concern is remastering classic games for their campaign/story, not making multiplayer the priority. Other devs and IP's like Call of Duty and Battlefield tried this and lost respect and interest very quickly. So no IMO Nightdive should NOT focus on the multiplayer mode of turok evolution or any game for that matter. Second while I agree that Turok 3 had practically zero replayability Turok Evolution was basically a trashfire in comparison with it's "story". Incomplete or otherwise non existent transitions past chapter 3 and lack of storytelling isn't something to forget or gloss over, not to mention disastrous porting to other platforms which led to several bugs which never got fixed makes this the most controversial enrty in the series. Often called the best and worst in the series outside of Turok 2 which showed the most success. I want to see a remake or a decent remaster of Turok Evolution. No I don't care if multiplayer is missing. All I want is the bugs gone, proper mouse controls, remastered footage whether they remake it or simply upscale it and maybe some achievements if it hits Steam. If you want to fight for nightdive to remake a Turok for it's multiplayer then maybe focus on the turok game that's actually known for it…Rage Wars. I personally feel that something as retro as the Turok franchise would not receive as much attention or playercount as many AAA contenders especially seeing as that's what their games are designed primarily for vs Turok games who's main focus was always the story/campaign however as I said rather focus your attention on Rage Wars if Multiplayer is the only thing you care about
I'm glad we got a remaster for Turok 3, I actually liked it more than the 1st two games as it reminded me of Half Life 1 but on N64. Charging $30 is too much though, that probably had a bigger negative impact on sales than the lack of multiplayer.
With the recent release of The Thing Remaster, I'm hoping we get more remasters for 2000s games that have been left behind on older consoles and pcs. Turok Evolution and Turok 2008 for sure, but don't charge $30 unless they are full remakes like System Shock Remake.
Literally no one would have played the Turok 3 multiplayer for longer than 15 minutes lol, that's why they cut it

Love your videos but I do think you are encouraged to replay Turok 3 with the additional characters and achievements
