  1. I’m pregnant with my second rn and my biggest suggestion is just a good pair of headphones. There are some days that you do everything right and baby will still be upset, and the sound of a baby crying is designed like an alarm that gets into your bones. It really helps you keep your sanity. I am so proud of both of you! You can already tell what amazing parents you guys will be

  2. i study early childhood and love to look at it from an attachment perspective am living with a family with a 16 month old and also babysit a girl who is about to be 2. her parents have jobs that require them to travel/ leave. so it’s good for her to have another attachment bond/ figure
i love them deeply… but i promise you they get so much worse. just wait until they are crawling and walking
i will say, i know it’s good for their parents having me. sometimes all they need is to do the dishes or take a shower.

  3. I had my daughter right after COVID shutdown happened so I felt like I didn't get a "proper" newborn phase but I had so much one on one time with her during that year. But I realized after that there is no proper way to suddenly adjust to having a newborn. Just enjoy every moment you can with your baby and partner. They grow so fast, now she's about to be 4 and has the most vibrant personality.

  4. Seasoned infant nanny here – love seeing y’all enter this new phase of life. One of my favorite parts of being an infant nanny was working with first time parents and watching them tackle all the new info and experiences that come with having your first one. Love this episode!

  5. I love seeing you both on camera just being your genuine selves. I understand why Kelsey hasn’t been on as much but we’d love to have more family/couple content!! Also Kelsey you look gorgeous, no matter what clothes or hairstyle you’re glowing!! Both of you are!! I love seeing the joy in your guys’ eyes.

  6. I welcomed my son 3 weeks ago and he’s a very fussy newborn compared to when my seven year old daughter was that age. It can feel so exhausting and those thoughts creep in that you’re doing a bad job but then I remind myself that I’m keeping him alive and surrounding him with love, which is more than good enough. It’s such a whirlwind time, you’ll look back and wonder how time went so fast so try your best to enjoy it, as hard as that can be some times. Thanks for keeping it real
