At least 5,000 bodies have been buried as of Sunday in the mass cemetery of Turkey’s Maras. A large part of the pine forest was cleared to dig mass graves to bury the bodies recovered from the rubble of buildings flattened by a series of earthquakes in the country last week. The local administration’s hearse vans kept bringing dozens of bodies every few minutes throughout the day.
