  1. I finished placements with Dhalsim 0/10. And it still didn't put me in the very bottom, but in Rookie 3.
    So yeah, it was weird.
    And I have no idea how pretty okay players in the rookie tournament – manage to get 0 ranked points.

  2. One more thing: My best is 3 characters in silver. I strongly disagree that you can't just be in bronze/iron/silver forever, and be genuinely a bad player, staying in your league. Even with Insane with capital I bonuses, that push you up right now.
    The reason you weren't ranked into even silver, is because you played like at least gold. Players in Bronze are just only beginning to experiment with drive rush there. (Players who are clearly "I'm just passing through" are an exception, of course. But once again, it's hard to even get placement in bronze if your main is in plat-diamond) I'm not saying Irons can't stumble upon some cool stuff. But we are not playing footsies there, and not consistently/deliberately use moves designed for specific situation in iron.

    I just typed a couple paragraphs about how current system semi-works, in separating skill levels.
    With that said: ELO or bust. Please, Capcom! I feel bad when I win a third of games at most, and still rank up, with Hard floors.
