  1. this evofusion crap gives me tachycardia . He really looks like crap, that color….
So, "bla blabla junkions appart bla bla bla"…. so this junkion does not get appart. Which was what I was expecting, when i was STILL expecting BS from hasbro. "oh… that recolor from original hound in the 80ts.."
I am not the only one for sure, that was like "oh another junkion, and jeep? must be very cool to get him apart for the others"
Anyway, Siege Hound wins for me. And its my definitive Hound.

  2. Since he's Junkion, he's a must-have for me. Seems like Hasbro currently is having a blast with repaints/minor retools – Toxitron collection, SDCC 2023 reveals – mostly (except Ultra Magnus) repaints. Old habits die hard.
Speaking of prices, currently in my area price for a deluxe figure almost doubled since Siege. Voyagers are $50+, deluxes are $35-40, leaders $80-90, quality goes down (I was shocked when I plugged Wildrider onto Menasor's leg and 5mm ports on Wildrider immediately stress marked like on $5 KO), prices go up, madness.

  3. They just need to give us earth mode Hound already… it's been like 4-5 different lines(Earthrise, Kingdom,SS86, Legacy, Evo, UNI) since they even released a Hound figure smh

  4. Based on vintage E-Hobby Detritus. He is a redeco of Siege Hound, he is made of Melanin (skin color) plastic, her hips, missile and her gun are made of gold plastic, and her arms are shaded dark red plastic.

  5. The vehicle mode of original Detritus and Hound toy was a Mitsubishi J59 Jeep and the second picture you showed is a Volkswagen Kubelwagen was used by german army during World War 2.

  6. That is a very odd shade of not quite green and not quite gold on this good chap.
I hope that Buzzworthy release still shows up as it is supposed to have the Cartoon deco Cliffjumper in the case as a repack and I still don't have that darn thing either.

  7. Perhaps a sensible alternative would be to have an actual WFC-T Mercenary logo on him somewhere too.
The main reason I want him is he's an Arms Dealer based on the Planet of Junk and so is an unofficial Junkion of sorts too.

  8. I think this one is the short wheel Base US type Jeep, (not that different to the Bumblebee Movie one) but the G1 mould is a Mitsubishi -J59 instead which has a longer wheelbase for mounting a gun and a slightly different grill and other details (like the wing mirrors). I think it's a reasonable approximation considering it's licence free.

Though one has to wonder… "why didn't they just use the JP Jeep mould instead ?"

  9. I have to say I like it.
I really appreciate that they made the wheels more narrow for once since the original Siege version could not stand up straight because of the thick wheels getting in the way.
The back in robot mode looks a bit hollow, tho.
Still, I'm looking forward to getting Detritus and the new Earth-mode Hound whenever that finally materializes.
