Winstreak Run Rules:
• Clear Black Monolith by day 150
• EELI / unexplored, random seed, rotating origin
• No gameplay altering mods (except auto-pause, so I can crank up worldmap speed)
• No third-party fights except road travel or normal part of quest (e.g., caravan allies)
• No “re-rolling” fights (e.g., for new terrain)
• No repairing items exclusively for resale
• No “dedicated runner”
• No edge tile abuse
• No extended wiederganger farm
• No other exploits or obvious cheese
My rules essentially boil down to combat and gameplay looking completely “normal” and replicable to a new player, and for gameplay to match the spirit of the game.

Reflecting a bit on the first fight that went poorly:
– I should have at least considered punting and finding another town to get more than 7 bros for the first fight. I think I still agree with not risking the search but still, I should have at least considered it.
– I should have purchased either the hooked blade or even the warfork in Albstadt. I had the spare funds and there's insufficient incentive to save those trade goods. The relationship bonus was a whole 9 crowns, practically irrelevant.
– It wasn't even that bad RNG once I consider the fight holistically. Yes, parts of it went poorly, but hitting those 2 javelins on the thug double-gripping the spear to kick things off was huge.
– At the start of round 4, I should have moved Giselherr to make melee contact on the bottom thug to cause a morale check and provide surround bonus for attacks. If I'd have purchased the warfork he'd even have a knife instead of fists.
– At the end of round 4, I should have moved Giselherr somewhere else and let Bejontay have that highground tile. My mental assessment was that he'd probably be faster than the thugs who had similar stamina losses as my bros but I was scared to let them have that tile.
I will be watching this after my exam tommorow. Glad I have something to look forward to this weekend. Happy to see another run
