We should assume that the people of Israel traveled from Babylon in the spring, and it probably took them at least four months to arrive at their homeland, because that’s how long it took Ezra and his group to arrive (see Ezra 7:9). So, by the time the seventh month came around, and it was time to observe many of the Lord’s festivals, the returning exiles had likely been in Jerusalem for only a short time. Notice, even though they had just settled into their new cities and were busy taking care of their families, which could have been an excuse to delay going to worship God until things settled down a bit, Israel was so eager to worship after being punished for neglecting their faith that they dropped everything and went to the altar of God. When we prioritize religious matters over worldly concerns, things tend to work out better in the end.

Why do Jews in Israel spit on Christian’s ? I’ve seen video after video of them spitting on Christian’s in Israel and I want to know why they hate us.
Two points to consider.
1. Many pastors view their church as their own personal business.
a. The point that made it clear was the pastor Rick Riener who started a church in Moscow. I enjoyed hearing his video when he came to the US and bought several of his books. He mentioned in a recording that several close associates helped him for a couple of decades. He wished to replace them to make room for his sons.
b. A similar thing happened when Chuck Smith died at Calvary Chapel. Chuck's son removed people who were there for 30 years from the church in a very brutal manner. No respect for their service.
2. Many church musicians take a pastor role so that they can raise their children. After the children reach a certain age they move on to their true passions.
How about house churches as in the NT?

The bible clearly shows why abortion is the best thing for the majority of humanity in Mark 9:42-48. Why do Christians like Doug ignore what the bible teaches? If hell is real then abortion is the most humane thing that could ever happen to any potential human being ever! The risk of eternal torture will always outweigh bringing any finite life into this world if hell and eternal torture is real. So the question for any Christian is which is it? Do you honestly believe hell is real? Are you ignorant to what eternal torture is? Are you in denial that exponentially more people will be tortured for eternity than claim a life in your heaven belief? Or do you just disregard and hate conscious life and don't care about those who will be tortured for eternity? And this flawed thinking by the so called pro-life movement is what makes them so dangerous. They think they are moral but are far from it. They place their belief of what they think a fetus is or isn't above all other humanity. You see this in their support of Trump's authoritarianism, supporting those that do nothing about climate change or gun violence, supporting those that do nothing about America's unsustainable health care costs and the list goes on. The only thing Christians love is their smug sanctimony and of course the fetus.
Calling the great commission impotent if it’s not followed by action in our areas of influence hit hard.
The local church, even "conservative" "evangelical" ones have been contributors of the destruction of society, starting with the normalization and even encouragement of divorce. Followed by cowardice in standing against other sin which may cost membership. Followed by a lack of Kingdom understanding and preaching.
