  1. I LOVe the way you repair the toys, Dave! I really admire that! I wish I wasn't so lazy. I need to restore an original Optimus Prime. I do have a figure that you have that you repaired, I still need to repair, which I shall! I have spoken.

  2. I used to have a Takara watch former when I was a kid. What I liked to do was use the wrist band as a sort of giant mono wheel vehicle for th efigure. You caould attach the figure via it''s peg in to the cradle but inside the band. So you use the same hole as the cradle but from the opposite side so the figure is beneath the cradle or inside the watch band. Then you close the band loop and it make the band look like a giant single wheel vehicle with the figure riding inside it. I thought that looked cool when I was 7 but maybe it is one of those things that only a 7 year old would appreciate. In any case have a go at giving your watch bot a big bad wheel machine and see if you enjoy the look on your shelf.

  3. £30 for the two transformers seems a good deal. Looking forward to seeing a future video of you fixing them up

Edit I’ve had two dragsters get damaged in the post now. The plastic is very delicate with that figure, it’s totally different from every other Motu figure. Would love to see a video of you trying to fix that up

  4. That Bandit trailer model kit at the start was awesome. I've seen before that Ertl made a Bandit figure, but I didn't know anything like that trailer was made. My dad had been a semi driver when S&TB came out, and would've loved it. I love those robot watches, found a white one in a bank parking lot, about ten years ago. No idea if it's vintage or reproduction, it had fallen off of whatever band it had, but its internals sadly don't work, either. It still transforms fine.

  5. It was good to see you again and thanks for the shout out! I wish I could have chatted longer but I had to get back. Some nice pick ups, would like to see the Panthor re-flocked at somepoint.

  6. I'm sorry to tell you this, 2001 for a Takara reissue isn't recent. That was over 20 years ago. Big fan of the channel. Gets me inspired to fix broken or worn down figures.
