Total War: Warhammer 3 Immortal Empires Campaign – Daughters of the Forest, Mother Ostankya #4

Time to take out the eco trash as we launch an attack against the Sisters to reclaim our lost lands and get some more ingredients to pop in the pot which… actually seems quite fun now in part 3 of a brand new Immortal Empires Campaign as the Mother Ostankya in Total War: Warhammer 3 Shadows of Change!

  1. If you like freezing enemy armies, later on you get a teleportation hex, and the normal version teleports one of your armies to any mystic forest. So basically world roots right? Pretty cool.
The overcast/upgraded version lets you teleport ANY army in your territory to any mystic forest. Including enemy armies. So you can literally just take a doomstack and yeet it into cathay.

  2. Diplomacy with the AI is often frustrating but I think it's hard to design in a way that feels decent and maintains challenge. If it's too easy to buy territory or get the AI into wars the system will just feel like it's cheesing the AI. That said, I think I'll be using a mod to tone down the anti-player bias on my next campaign. Might be cool if there were detailed custom difficulty settings for things like diplomacy for vanilla

  3. From my understanding, I'm not sure if this is true, but I feel that on higher difficulties sadly the ai becomes even more biased against the player generally speaking in every situation. I was mucking about on easy and basically was able to ally with a bunch of random order factions from the turn 20-30 roughly without much preparation. I then tried it on just basically medium difficulty and couldn't do the same because ai said no? I imagine its sadly the same for all types of deals. Then again I could just be making connections where there isn't anything.

  4. The folly of the primarchs always seemed like a purposeful example of the hubris of man. The empire may be essentially the "protagonists" of 40k but they are not the good guys. No one ia thats the point lol i very much agree with you on the primarchs
