  1. There's more than a bit of a misconception that Fantasy Nurgle is slow, when he's not. This was also something CA played into on the initial release where all of Nurgle's units were very slow, even though his slowest unit (Plaguebearers) are supposed to be as quick as Saurus. Tamurkhan in particular is characterised by how fast his forces were (they were described as being like a plague wind), and I like how there's a mechanic to refill movement to play into that.

The Toad Dragons are definitely a lot smaller than a Dread Saurian, though we'll have to see how they do in-game before we can really judge their performance.

As for sieges, you could try attacking multiple angles at a time rather than just rushing a single opening, doing the single point rush is easier but it does make sieges more boring since it also lasts a lot longer.

  2. I forgot to mention, Ogre Charge doesn't add more charge bonus, it means you ignore half of the enemy's charge defence. Normally charge defence cancels all of the charge bonus an attacking unit gets, assuming they have the charge defence for that unit, most units only have charge defence against large. In practice, just divide Tamurkhan's charge bonus by 2 and that's what he actually gets. If you're unclear on what it does, Charge Bonus gets added to your melee attack and weapon strength when you charge, and I believe it gradually decays over 13 seconds until it's gone completely, but running away and charging again will refresh it.

The Chaos Dwarf's weapon looks like a keyboard because it's a fireglaive, not a blunderbuss, and in combat they function like both a rifle and a halberd.

Incidentally every Nurgle unit looks a lot less disgusting in this DLC than they do on the tabletop. The tabletop versions of Tamurkhan, Kazyk, and their other units look like actual corpses (Tamurkhan's mouth looks like that because his bottom jaw was split open, as an example, and Kazyk looks like a zombie). Maybe CA wanted to make them more palatable.

  3. 6:00 YOOOOOO, Yeah, you could say Shadow of mordor had something like that. God I loved that game, and Shadow of war was even better! I would recommend it, but I feel like you already have your hand fulls at the moment xD

  4. It’s really looking good, shame ca had to have such a rough wake up in terms of layoffs when this should have been a gold mine from day 1.

I was thinking about the fact that champions of chaos and the chaos dwarfs were some of the best dlc they ever made then they gave us shadows of change which was not so good. Shame really but this looks like it’s going to be another banger dlc

  5. If I remember in one of the past streams you mentioned being interested in multiplayer. There’s a channel called More Warpstone that makes videos of fun matches, one of their newest was an eight man king of the hill for Karak Eight Peaks.

  6. Yeah I am happy that they changed up the Nurgle mechanic that it only does the military building's. Also if you do do a Empire campaign I recommend to play as Balthasar Gelt since he had a major update with the DLC. Cause I think he has his own mechanic now with the Colleges of Magic, finally getting Gold Wizard FLC hero and does start in south Grand Cathay and also has a campaign story where you can actually team up with Zhao Ming The Iron Dragon. Might be wrong but I still do recommend it if your interested dude also loving your content hope ya doing ok 😁🤙🏻
