  1. Speaking of Soviet planes. You should do a video on the Antonov AN-218. An abandoned wide body plane that was supposed to take to the sky in 1994 but never made it because of severe economic conditions facing post USSR Ukraine and the closest thing we got was a wooden replica. Rumor has it that in 2014 it was dismantled and buried some where with the blueprints. There were three models the 100, the 300 which was the shortened body and the 400 an extended body. They even made pins and calendars for the 218.

  2. I actually have heard of some of these projects, lol these military history channels inapired me to start playing this game called modern warships. They do a good job of including concept machinery/weapons either modern or in history

  3. 7:12 "Explicitly" is mispronounced. The 'c' is supposed to sound like an 's' just as in 'implicit' and 'explicit'. You probably got it confused with the word 'inexplicably', which means without explanation/understanding. By comparison, 'explicitly' means stated exactly without need for interpretation/inference.

  4. I didn't enjoy how vague the information was and how quickly you went through each aircraft in this video.
I get that you are trying to hit that "golden zone" for video length, but I think you could have made it 5-8mins longer and included a bit more information on each aircraft..

Hopefully you make or already have an individual video on each of them.

  5. Helicopters use an awful amount of power to lift mass into the air. 'Helicarriers' are the ultimate imaginary expression of that wastefulness. Avengers' plagiarised Kerry Conlan's Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow on that one, in a much more joyfully original story, btw.
The real ticket is diridgibles. Only status quo inertia and self-centred corporate survivalism prevents these wonderfully efficient machines from dominating the skies again. You'd think our pixel-mad Wizard From Oz would have virtualised one by now. Australia's Outback has enough sunshine to help fill Aussie skies with them. All that surface area of photovoltaics? Anyone would think the oil industry wants us adicted to hydrocarbons forever. They couldn't be that suicidal, could they? We should call John Howard to find out, eh? Or…..Peter Garrett!
