The Long Goodbye is an excellent movie!
Need to fix the flaw in the shift. Outfielders need to be forced to stay in their field. This must be made an addendum immediately.
The NBA and NFL should end their All Star and Pro Bowl Games respectively. No game is better than the garbage they have been putting out. Give the players a 1 week break instead. Baseball should replace the All-star game with the WBC. Having it during Spring Training raises the risk of injury since players ramp up quicker than normal.
In baseball, the All Star Game peaked when there were no interleague games. Now all teams play each other, the interest of one letting one league's fans see the other league's All Stars lost all of its luster.

As much as ESPN would love it, Soccer is not going to take over anything in this country. Once every four years we pretend to care, but then are left with a 7th rate league to watch.

tough np w ds today. NBA is unwatchable and I don't care about it at all anymore. MLS, I never cared to begin with. To me the interesting stories in sports are, NCAA basketball an MLB spring training.
Chicago Blackhawks.. 2010, 2013 and 2015 Stanley Cup champions. Another dynasty at the same time as that Giants dynasty.
mls is already ahead of the nhl. mls attendance is 22k mlb is 25k. nhl is going to lose teams with ballys going bankrupt.nhl barely got a tv contract with espn. nobody watches the nhl. no one is going to pay for the streaming of the nhl.just like the 14 mlb teams. they are never going to make anywhere that revenue back . look for a couple nhl teams going bankrupt and mlb teams in real trouble. full streaming is going adjust team sport revenues and tv channels will disappear.
