  1. Agree with your top spot 100%.
Mercenary’s Pocketbook” from OG3 is a personal favourite. It gives insight in how utterly to shit Raccoon City has gone and that the spill is beyond containing. The realisation that the actions of the soldiers to use their comrades as fodder was taught to them by Umbrella sheds light on the by now obvious fact that the organisation is rotten to its absolute core.

  2. i know you didn't do any entries for any spin off games but the files " The old man's journal" and "Irina's last words" actually made me tear up in revelations 2. seeing the development of a dad trying his best to take care of his daughter and then her trying to get along with her and then seeing her working for the evil made him grew concerned then in the other journal her seeing how she was wrong for working in the mines as she tries to call to her father while shes infected. it made me shed a few tears and it is m favorite files entry ever. Loved the list btw <3

  3. We all have our lists. 3 of my favorites are a combo. The investigation fax regarding Chief Irons sent to the Stars Office. The secretary's diary, and finally the Chief's Diary. The first reveals the man as highly intelligent, but a rapist. So we get insight before we meet him that he has issues. Then we get the Secretary's Diary and realize he is crooked and has a violent temper on top of it. Finally his own diary rips the mask off and reveals he is a completely deranged sociopath and sadist. You combine it with the brilliant OG voice acting and OG Irons is MILES better than remake and one of the better fleshed out sub-villains of RE.

  4. I think it's dumb that the Resident Evil 4 remake doesn't have a menu option to reread files that you have already found in the main game like in the original the only way you can reread files is by playing either A New Game Plus that you've already collected the file which allows you to have it or by playing a new game and just finding the file and reading it as you go through the game not sure why this is but it sucks
