I have a theory about seven.

I believe seven has lived some sort of past life or was a time traveler but he messed up somewhere and Duke ducan took this to steal the past because how DID Duke ducan even steal the past? He doesn't look very magical. And duke ducan couldnt get his hands on ancient relics with just an army. So Duke ducan reset time and seven without any memories has to fix his mistake.
