To the Moon and Back – Terra Invicta (Part 4)

An alien ship has crash-landed on Earth in the year 2022! Unsure of the implications, humanity has split along ideological lines. Some are starry eyed and eager to learn from our new visitors… others recognize the threat that they pose. We are the Resistance, a supranational organization preparing humanity to defend our home if – or when – these unknown xenos show their true colors!

  1. Having both the US and China sounds interesting yeah. But even more the North American State, and maybe the United American State for both continents would be cool as a playthrough

  2. Once you've launched a probe you can keep track of it by clicking on the body the probe is heading to (like Mars) and looking at the bottom of the planet's window on the left side of your screen, right above the name, in this case above MARS it stated "Survey Completion: 25 November 2025" when you were asking about when the probe was going to arrive there.

  3. Just to head off some suffering that is likely to arise without spoiling anything big, once you utilize more than about 80 Mission control, you will experience some suffering that maxes out at 200 mission control or so. Be careful about that. Also, you can sort your sciences by category so it's easier to parse the list. You can also set resources to show monthly rather than daily income in the settings which is great for readability. Point defense is really effective at protecting your stations and bases from aliens and space debris for a good while. Letting the aliens succeed at attacking your stations and bases gets them to cool off.

    "attention to dtail"
so simplifying the map by merging small countries together like the Benelux, Baltics, Illyria and Balkans etc,. is attention to detail? No, it's not

I'm fine with the baltics and Benelux mostly since politically they're all in the EU, all in NATO, etc so it doesn't really make a difference but Austria and Switzerland being combined is a crime against anyone claiming to have "geopolitical accuracy". Austria is in the EU, Switzerland is not.
