Hello, welcome to part 3 of 4 of Turtle Island Bonsai pot making series. In this episode I show how I fired and glazed the pot, with the footage of loading and unloading it to the kiln and some technical bits about the process of firing in the old fashion way, using a kiln sitter and no computer.
Join in to see how this long time project came out glazed and ready to be used as a bonsai pot.
Thank you so much for sharing, liking and commenting on my video, it helps my channel to grow.
I am an amateur making videos for the purpose of sharing the process, so thank you for understanding their “home made” feel.

A lot of work goes into pottery making. Turtle pot looking good. Wow! Cold early in Canada by you in August. I wonder if you could make a shed away from the house and place the kiln in it to keep the fumes out of the house and garage. Just a thought on that. Those pots really look great!
Wow, that looks incredible!!!
Woah! Seriously the most amazing root over statue all inclusive pot I've ever seen! Amazing talent here! I must get my hands on some of your work ASAP! Thanks for sharing!
Wow wow wow! I'd put it on my shelf as a decoration! too beautiful! 🐦💙
I thought you might like to see this video on Bonsai Q called: Learn how to paint pots at the Yuukishoseki kiln. You will enjoy how this mom paints these small pots before glazing. About 4 days ago it aired.
