OK when she brought up Oregon Trail she got mad respect points.
Regarding losing church cred.. I knew a preacher who LOVED Carlin. He would say Carlin made too many good points about the world, in general, and was so funny doing it, that he just let the atheism slide lol.

The hammering of the guilt into you is very western , 2000 years of it. My Grandad, a complete atheist taught me this instead: dont worry about being a great man, just be a good one.
There are consequences to lying, just not anything supernatural. Losing self-respect and the respect and trust of others being the primary, but many more. However, I do still lie, we all do, but I try not to as much as possible. Sometimes though, you gotta do what ya gotta do.
