Time Skip in the NYC Subway.

Time Skip in the NYC Subway.

Today, we will be listening to the account of a woman who seems to have experienced a brief skip in time, or “Time Glitch.” on the New York City Subway System. Time Travel is not a well understood concept, but strange “Time Skips” have been reported throughout history.

The NYC Subway can be an unsettling place, containing mysterious abandoned train tunnels, subway stations, among other strange oddities.

  1. As a New Yorker myself at 2:22 you talked about the abandoned Essex Street Trolley Terminal which is where trolleys ended and it has been abandoned and never touched again since 1940 the MTA had made a video before about what that dark space was at Essex

  2. As a new Yorker, the Essex street abandon platform was meant to be used for the F line (I'm not exactly sure but I heard something like this) as MTA was doing some form of merging, because today, in essex st, there's a label tape that has 10/8 (10 cars/8 cars) so the best assumption was this was meant to merge the F. I'll edit this comment once I get further info.

Edit: I'm not completely wrong, but it was not about the F line, it was actually a trolley terminal

  4. I like the stock photos you used. Some presentations on YouTube use photos that are wildly at variance with the story but yours were spot on. If people were able to see her in the time slip, they probably were looking at her immodest dress. Hem lines were much longer in the 30s and 40s. Never enter the subway tracks! She must have had more than two glasses of wine to cloud her judgment so greatly. There are stories of young women drinking at rooftop parties and falling to their death in NYC. How much can be consumed varies to where they are in their cycle and body weight, so I've read.

  5. I'm going to question this person even living in NYC, let alone this happening, when I lived in Boston the third rail was more than common knowledge for people that road the T.
Edit: I see it's fictional, it was still very entertaining.

  7. I'm really glad you decided to do the fictional stories after all. I know people can get weird about it but having that suspension of disbelief and being able to just let yourself get into these stories is really great. Reminds me of the early creepypasta days where you knew they weren't real but there was always that air of what-if.

  8. Love this sort of content. The idea that channels like yours are successful not because the stories are *true*, but because the stories are *interesting*, was kind of brilliant. Gotta hand it to you for coming up with such a creative and innovative way to meld your passions and create something that's really your own. I'm very glad to have gotten in at what is comparatively the ground floor of something I could see getting really big, really soon.
