  1. Lae'zel and Shadowheart romance reminds me of River and Judy from Cyberpunk. While the first was a night of passion with other people sleeping nearby, the second was a moment of love, healing, and swimming.

  2. Jaheira and (maybe) Halsin are a bit different than the other companions in the sense that they are True Neutral instead of Good/Evil. True Neutral characters are more concerned with their own well-being and that of their allies, and they don't care much about others they don't know, hence why Jaheira doesn't mind an alliance with the Emperor or cares much for Orpheus, as long as there's no harm involved.

  3. 25:12 The only logical assumption for Isobel not taking a rest to heal yet is Aylin keeping her too busy to sleep.

22:22 You're right, there's just one Voss and 157 Vlaakiths. Voss has been around for a long time, but has spent most of his time in the Astral Plane (like most adult Githyanki do). Creatures don't age there which is how both he and Orpheus are still alive.

24:35 Vlaakith resides in the Gith'yanki city of Tu'narath in the Astral Plane. Like many Githyanki cities Tu'narath was built on the body of a dead god referred to as "the One in the Void" (which Lae'zel mentions at 26:47, and she has also mentioned Tu'narath a few times before).

  4. I think that's what they were going for, it's more than just their common situation that connected these characters, their backstories, problems and situations are so similar to each other, they will find comfort knowing they are not alone through the journey.

  5. It is interesting that Welonz took the route of letting Shadowheart do what she wanted when she was dealing with Aylin in the Shadowfell and when talking to Ferg, but she tried to convince Lae'zel with telling her not to believe Vlaakith's lies. Just a notable difference I noticed, maybe indicative of having more trust in Shadowheart than Lae'zel?

  6. "How old is Voss?" – While in the Astral Sea (this multiverse's version of space) you don't age. For a Githyanki that mostly rides through the Astral on a red dragon to appear old, as Voss does, they must be exceedingly old.

  7. "Aylin was right next to us, too!" – Earlier in this very playthrough, wasn't it Dame Aylin who said of her partner "We must now take succor in one another's body and words"

I don't think she has any issues against a bit of PDA.

  8. Glad Astarion, Wyll and Lae’zel got to shine a bit this episode before the incredible romance scene; perfect timing
Also, Shadowheart can’t swim so she was asking you to teach her, she wanted to learn something new do something scary without help from Shar for the 1st time and she chose Wellens to guide her ♥

  9. Who could believe Shadowheart would be so soft; she is like a hissing feral cat at the start of the game too scared and confused to recognize friend from foe and now she greets Wellens with a soft smile and kind words.
I am curious though, what do you think of Shadowheart Welonz? Are you happy you decided to romance her?

  10. I find it so funny and true to Shadowheart’s character that she is one of the companions that make you wait until Act 3 to have her romance scene; with Lae’zel and Astarion you are “building sandcastle” from Act 1. Who would have thought the freaky (affectionate) Sharran is among the companions that make Tav wait the longest 😀

  11. Thank you Shadowheart for deciding to move things forward 🙏
For some reason Wellens is really quick to flirt with everyone but so slow when it's time to fullly commit 😀
Both versions of the scene were really sweet and glad the kiss was still an option, with also 2 versions, that was nice!

  12. the vines in your camp are from the dryad and the wood woad despawning in camp when you end the day. It's the same when they die, it's their "blood".
If you want to get rid of it, have Gale cast a firebolt on it.

  13. At the very beginning of the game, Shadowheart said she can’t swim. That’s another meaning of her saying she wanted to see she could face a challenge without Shar. By the way, I’d suggest exploring Rivington a bit more thoroughly before moving on, now that you returned to the area. There are two scenes you probably wouldn’t want to miss there.
