Funnily enough, this is one of the most consistent parts of the mid volumes, where was able to understand the characters in the turmoils consistency of the story, and the way the author described environment

Again, quite a lackluster video from Aninews regarding the so called "cut content". I noticed he always like to add useless words just to pad out the time.
He even failed to mention the Easter egg of the Web novel story where Cid went to prison and joining a volunteer army.
If you guys want better breakdowns on episodes, I think anime Rumpai done it better and his videos are straight to the point
Hey just would like to point out almost the entirety of the piano part is incorrect from the video.
Cid knew other songs it's how he taught Epsilon things like the Turkish March.
He chose the moonlight sonata because it was the only song he PRACTICED (aka was good at) and he was apprehensive about becoming a pianist because he'd have to practice the other songs instead of being a one trick

Fun fact Victoria is actually a former Templar Priestess, who was called the saint but saved by Zeta and given salvation by Cid and now idolises him because could do what the God she worshipped could not. I am gutted the animation did not emphasize the Victoria 3 day battle vs 101 Cult 1st children members.. it's so unfortunate.

I can't get enough of this series. The constant misunderstandings are pure comedy gold. Tearmoon Empire employs similar comedy with everyone misunderstanding Mia's motives and thought processes but Cid is still the King of Misunderstandings. XD
was it also consistent between how cid gave a large portion of the gold he found to the girl who owned the inn? If it was consistent it seems like cid is more capable of love than it previously seemed. especially since he seemed to care about the 3 girls who were fighting the cult in the woods or at least enough to save them from the "guards". His cold approach to alpha's scene on the train vs giving away hard earned treasure for no reason is just too different for cid's character to be consistent.
idk about cid not knowing other songs, he said he was taught piano in the real world and his parents made him do it, i doubt he knew only one composition and moonlight sonata isn't easy to play anyway, cid is actually quite a skilled pianist in the anime

So does Sid have any respect for anyone? Like does he look any of the seven shadows in the eye? Or does he just see everything as his tools?
Mr Anime News, how you ever thought about making another Isekai deskmat that includes other isekais thay you feature on your channel? Like I ordered and love my Armory deskmat, but for like animes with fewer Weapons like Eminence in Shadow or TenSura, they kinda feel left out. So I was thinking how about like a them all sitting around a large Round Table Style of all the Features protagonists, with various elements or allies/subordinates from their respective shows behind them or in their shadow or something to that effect.
Fore example,
-Subaru with the 7 witches
-Cid and the 7 Shadows
-Ainz with the Floor Guardians, -Rimiru with Veldora, Ramiris Milim, Benimaru, Shion, Shuna, etc.
I just think having a way to include some of the other shows that you cover would be cool even if they dont use weapons that often.

Is it LN cannon that cid can only play 1 song? Or is the whole piano thing and especially moonlight sonata anime only? Since he played new songs in the latest episode and it honestly makes sense since he thought epsilon more than 1 song and i dont think hed be able to play it so well without some basic understanding of the piano and other pieces. Just curious

This ias nothing to do with the video. I just want to add the fact the slapping misdirect was genius. To think Perv was going for a generic slap, only to go for something more brutal to the confident Rose. Peak character design, and an excellent way of making the audience hate him that much more. It's great seeing a truly hateable, non-sypathetic villain
I know nothing of the manga or web novel. My only hope is that cid finds somebody he can truly share his dream with. Rose seems like that kind of person, it is funny that they are not actually on the same page at all, but it can become tiring.
