In hurricane Michael I lost almost all my family ,I live in a place called Mexico beach Florida ,if I told you my story you wouldn't never believe me and you would all think I'm fishing for attention, basically all I needed to say was godbless these people ,I know how it really feels and I can truly relate .

This line fucking kills me. I lost my mom suddenly at age 65 on March 25th this year. She was my best friend. I told this women EVERYTHING.
It kills me inside to not hear her voice. My last memory of her talking was me saying goodbye as I left for a concert with my friend. I was called back home near the end of it to hear my mom had another stroke and they don't think she is going to wake up. She didn't.
23 years wasn't enough. I still have so much anger. I miss her so damn much, all I want is to hear her voice and hug her..
My dad is sick. We were mentally preparing for him to go first within the next few years at most. Not her. She wasn't supposed to go yet. Neither of them are.

I am a Kentucky girl, and I saw Three Days Grace in concert a few years ago in Knoxville, TN. This song is special and makes me love them even more. It touches my heart that not a lot of songs these days can do.

My husband an I drive a truck for a living, we were 36 miles from Mayfield, Kentucky the day the tornado hit. We had the trailer worked on and decided to spend the night at the trucks top. If we hadn't done that we would have been another casualty of Mother Nature. After we left and drove through Mayfield the next day I cried seeing the devastation and the thought of all the lives lost. When I hear this song I always think of the good people of Mayfield and the heartbreak they had to endure. 3DG hit the nail on the head with this song, thank you
