Merci !

  6. During live performances Thomas shares the following story of how he came up with the song:

At the beginning of the Covid pandemic he returned to his parents' house in Norway. He went back to his old room – everything felt so small yet familiar – and felt the same drive and excitement about the music and life he used to feel as a kid. He wanted to put his pure, childish even, joy into music and share the thrill just as he remembered it. He moved his studio into that very room and started composing. What he wrote "turned out to be" this wonderful piece based on an Irish reel.

I believe this context makes the song even better!
