  1. Personally I like to hear about your future plans. Even if you don’t end up knitting them bringing the patterns up has reminded me of patterns I’ve forgotten about or even brought new patterns/designers to my attention. Keep doing it. 🙂

  2. 🙋🏻‍♀️ I’m learning how to quilt!.. I am a terrible cutter, but hopefully with practice I’ll get better. And I might just take you up on the reaching out offer for help. Loved seeing your fur babies at the end.

  4. I'm so excited for your sock machine! I have an old restored CSM and the learning curve with any CSM is steep. I find set up takes quite a while, but once you figure it out and develop habits around it, it's a -delight-! I'm looking forward to hearing how you like the 3d printed one! I love that they're making them as they're better priced and hopefully less finicky then the old restored ones. And lighter too haha!

  5. Great episode! Very bold of you to let your kitty mess with your yarn for as long as you did lolol! I would be sprinting across the room to end that reeeaaally quickly 😆 My cat loves my sheepier smelling yarns, so they stay in a closed cabinet

  6. Love seeing all those adorable baby knits! Such a great idea to make ahead to have ready! I also really enjoy hearing and seeing about your future dream knitting, gives me ideas too 😍 I just finished my Ingrid sweater and it is by far my most favourite knit and finished garment ever. I held a strand of Holst Coast, a strand of Holst Titicaca , and a strand of mohair silk to get close to he right gauge 😁
So excited for you to get your sock machine in 🥳🙌🥳 Take care 💓

  7. Hi Laura!! I finally see a podcast where a sweater is knitted bottom – up after knitting the sleeves first!! Thank you! For the last 3 years, since I've learned to do this crazy sweater construction, I do it with cardigans/coats as well. Just so simple, and no seams! And I'm even happier to see you so well, as far the eye can see… Always a pleasure. Love your 4 legged family. Blessings!

  9. I am a huge Jessica Mcdonald fan too! I am working on her snowy mittens right now and have done the sweater with the trees yoke (can't remember the name). I'm dying to knit her snowy shawl pattern from her new forthcoming book. Preorders are supposed to open tomorrow and then I'll get the ebook so I can start right away – I can't wait!
