  1. 0:47 good morning Pow family. Please share this video with all contacts. Mr Ponder will always be ahead of the storm. He works really hard to keep us safe. The appreciation we can show is by hitting the like and share with everyone. Prayers going up

  2. Roy, Iā€™m counting the hours & minutes until it rains. Iā€™m in Long Beach this weekend.
Iā€™ve harvested the oranges in San Diego & had 2 ingrown toenails repaired.šŸ˜®Iā€™m ready for a ā€œsevere weather eventā€
Iā€™m ā€œwaiting in the wingsā€ We donā€™t get much šŸŒˆrain in šŸŒ“So CalšŸŒµas you know šŸŒØā„ļø.

  3. Between POW, Ryan Hall, and Reed Timmer, there is absolutely no reason for people to solely rely on cable broadcast for weather related events. On the plus side, we actually learn how you guys get these forecasts over time through explanations and demonstrations. We ALL should become more weather-savvy with the bountiful resources present during a time with extreme weather

  4. I don't know about these models sometimes. They said I should be in the low 40's today and I don't believe we got out of the 30's saw zero sunshine it was cold and gloomy all day. A few flakes even flew. The forecasts keep calling for rain but I'm thinking we might just get snow if the cold air moves in faster than expected by the model runs. We shall see.

  6. Ha, ha, ha, looks like the 12z models may have backed off on the potential snowfall for the I-95 corridor around next weekend timeframe as reported by peopleā€™s comments from other YouTube channels. It probably wonā€™t be until much closer to Christmas time when where I live in around Philadelphia area and along the Northeast I-95 corridor sees its first snowfall of the season. I no longer like snow as used to for a couple of reasons, and I hope youā€™re incorrect about snow for coastal areas after all by late next week.

  7. These storms absolutely stink for us in NW Ohio. All we get is rain then the cold air rushes in on the backside but by then the precipitation is done. It gets cold for a week but it's dry. Rinse and repeat. Winter looks like another bust for us.

  8. The huge swath of heavy snow this storm is going to put down over the northern states may end up being a huge influence on the whole rest of the winter across the rest of the US. This snow is going to be heavy enough and in a part of the country where it can persist for months, which will reflect a lot of sunlight and create a lot of sub-zero nights in those areas. We will have a mini Siberian breeding ground right here in the northern US and southern Canada for brutally cold arctic air masses to persist and even intensify. So this will no doubt have a significant impact on what we previously had perhaps thought would be the theme for this winter here. What are your thoughts on this?

  9. This storm could be quite nasty. It's worth mentioning that the moon will be in Leo ā™Œ during this time. Also, I hope you are aware of the fact that a few substations across the USA were sabotaged by some nasty individuals. If this keeps up, the whole power grid of this country could collapse and we would indeed face the darkest winter ever. Better make preparations just in case such a scenario unfolds. Lord knows Ukraine's citizens sure wish they did šŸ˜„.

  10. I live in N. Calif. and today, Sat. we got over 1 3/4 inches of rain. Snow for tomorrow! FINALLY! A real winter. I can't remember the last time we had a winter with continuous storms and good amounts of rain. The weird thing is I looked in Farmers Almanac and they were calling for dry conditions and that is far from what has been going on thankfully! Thank you Roy for your reports.

  11. I did a "knowledgeable resources" podcast. Roy, POW and Ryan Hall got strongest recommendation I'll ever give. Told my audience in US the two are the ONLY sources for reliable weather forecast and the ONLY two I ever listen to.

  13. Rained all day in Reno on Saturday. Overnight we got about 2" of snow on the valley floor. Next 10 days going to be cold, only highs in mid 30's and lows in the mid teens. Unseasonably cold
