If You Want A More Powerful Steam Deck

AMD RDNA2 graphics in a compact gaming handheld is amazing. The AYANEO 2 by far the best gaming handheld I’ve used. Compared to the Steam Deck, this has a better screen, bigger battery, smaller form factor, WAY better performance, more ports, external GPU support.

  1. @Dave2D Bro can you please cover Lenovo Legion Slim 7.. It seems like the perfect laptop, all good things about the Legion 5 Pro, suitable for office, all in a thin and light chassis.. like what's the catch here ? Much appreciated. Keep up the good work 😁👍

  2. The Steam Deck isn't powerful?! Uhh …. It's a $500 PC that plays AAA games…. for $500. $500. Did I mention it's only $500? Because it's only $500. If you wanted, you could even get the $400 model with the same performance.

What other handheld at that price comes even close? You just reviewed one that costs over $1000.

  4. Pre-pre-ordered the AyaNeo GEEK for the early bird $750 on IndieGogo…only difference is the AN-GEEK has a 800p traditional screen instead of the 1200p full faced glass display the AN-2 has, pretty sure the AN-2 has better gyro too.

I got the AN-GEEK over the more expensive AN-2 because the AN-GEEK came in matte black, and I believe its more than acceptable to be playing games at 800p on a handheld to maximize framerates and save battery in the process by not playing at a higher native display(like the AN-2)

I've seen some leaked gameplay and it looks great as I thought, not to mention there's plenty of videos here on YouTube showing the performance of the 6800u chip that's in all these new and upcoming handhelds/laptops…and its pretty clear the chip can handle damn near everything including emulation gaming.

…And as always things always get better with more patches/optimizations so sky's the limit with these devices IF your fortunate/lucky in my case to scoop one of these up on pre-pre-order.

  5. I’m a firm believer in supporting and investing in products led by people who believe and care about what they create. This one for sure is one of them! Even though I already own a steam Deck, I’m really curious in trying theirs out now too! I would just hate for a passionate team to dissolve considering their competition has been running an incredibly successful launch with their own product the steam deck.
