We had leftover resin so we decided, around midnight, do make a galaxy resin play button! For 50% off with HelloFresh PLUS free …

  1. As an artist, I can really relate to spending hours on a project only to start hating it and wanting to start it all over but feeling obligated to finish because you've already invested so much time in it already and its so close to being done and hoping you can somehow still salvage it ; v ;

  2. Imagine someone on the ISS watching this video, and they don't hear the disconnect at the end of the sponsored ad. So, they try to order hello fresh only to be disappointed when they can't deliver to space lol

  3. I think I would have tried to "back light" the original. But with light from the front since you liked the back better. Carve out the play button and flip it around so the back is now the front. Add a little more resin to hold it in place. If you made that resin clear that would have shown the light in that section more super backlighting the play button. Probably just as chaos as what you guys did, BUT WITH LIGHTS!

  4. First video: all the glitter sunk to the bottom
    This video: we're gonna use super slow cure….and the glitter had time to sink to the bottom….

    Would make sense to either do it in layers or just use slightly quicker curing resin lol

  5. While watching I was thinking glow in the dark spots in layers for a star effect idk maybe for future projects if it's possible. You both are so very talented I love watching you two create together 💕

  6. I'm sorry, but I have to ask. Do E&K realize that all they had to do was drill and remove the center portion and flip it around to use the back of the pour? The button itself would have covered any drill marks behind it.

  7. something interesting you should try is putting the resin in "reverse" the dark colors first and cparkles and clears last, i think that would make the front side look better almost always

  8. Soooo in case you have an extra amount again, I don't know how viable it would be for your guys' content, but Nerdforge has made a video before where she had a bunch of spare resin spheres she turned into potion bottles and staff gems, so maybe if you guys had a few molds that were easy to modify the finished product, that could work out for you better than another play button lol.
    Doesn't have to be spheres necessarily, but if y'all had a bunch of fake rock, flower, crystal or flat plane molds, you might be able to recycle that 1/2 gal of resin into another project or get a kickstart on fixing an oopsy.

  9. It seems like the glitter always sinks to the bottom, & without so much of it, it would have been a cool dark swirl originally, but the final is nice and subtle

  10. when it cracked i kinda thought it was going to transition into more cracking and gluing everything back together with bright resin kinda like kintsugi,, just with resin instead of gold lol

  11. Please don't use a common notification sound effect in the videos. It kept making me think I was receiving messages, (yes, it's not the device it usually would be on, but still, brain wired to notification sounds.)

  12. First off, I say this with all the love in the world for you two. Why is it the more wholesome someone is, the more awkward they are. Going to say I'm 100% here for it.
