First Cut: Samurai Duel is a high-intensity arcade sword-fighting game where every strike is lethal. Slash, clash, parry, dodge and watch limbs fly in the atmosphere of historical feudal Japan. Choose your move carefully – the first cut is also the last.

A refined and intuitive fighting system – Aim your sword to block attacks and strike around your opponent’s guard. Parry their attacks with your own, dodge to close the distance, and interrupt them with a well-timed shove. It takes a minute to learn, and a lifetime to master.

Customize your fighter – An array of different options to wear. Choose and colour each piece separately to make each character your own.

Dueling with deadly results – Send heads and limbs flying as blood rains down and stains the characters and environment. Chop your opponent to pieces, or equip a wooden sword instead for a little mercy and possibly a concussion.

Duel your friends in local multiplayer, fight custom AI opponents, try to stay alive in Survival mode, or hunt down enemies in the Scenario mode campaign.
Play with friends remotely using Steam Remote Play Together.

Bonus modes – Laser swords, custom blood, floating weapons, zombies, and more.

  1. The funniest part is, the game only gets more bullshit difficult afterwards. When you get to the part where you're fighting a bunch of angry samurai in the middle of a field at sundown (then in the middle of a snowstorm), then you will know true suffering.

  3. There used to be a game in a famous abandon ware site about samurai and being a Feudal Lord in Japan in the early 2000's. You could Invade other Shoguns houses at night and kill them sleeping, send forces after recruiting to fight, and fight in duels just like these. This game looks like it is based on that one…God I wish I could remember the name of that game..Lots of gem's in that abandonware games website. It was my main source of games for a long time since all I had was a Windows XP OS and a very low end machine, also, Dial UP internet connection. As a Brazilian kid, I was actually lucky to have that stuff, and I only had that because my father had received it from his university as he was doing some research… I had a rich neighbor though, he was much older than me and I would hit my apartment walls all night long till he actually show up on the window and invite me to watch him play Age Of Empires II. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
MOFO never had let me touch his PC to play a single round….but to just watch him playing was wonderful enough for me…good times man…good times…
I'm about to become a Software Engineer, still studying code till this day and I build a new monster PC every 3 years.
    Wow…thanks for this video bro.

  4. I noticed something; if you attack while there's blood on your sword, you can launch it into an enemy's face. They will then take a moment to wipe it from their eyes, leaving them open to attack.

    Gorgeous detail

  5. Absolutely love the editing! I will say for certain games I do think the minimal editing style tells a better story, so like games you build a story in it makes more sense. However for one-off games like this, absolutely LOVED the editing that had me rollingπŸ˜‚
