  1. Just remember to run around with the bugnet a lot of the time while exploring and harvesting in the farm/town to catch bait. Fishing isn't that bad, once you figure out the minigame.

And I wouldn't sell anything related to crafting, just put that stuff in a chest if it's not for your current professions.

And I am doing cook/fish right now.. plant crops, water them… then do a circle around the farm collecting treasure piles, the repeatable chest, and gathering (berries, muscles , shrimp, bait, seaweed, flowers, mushrooms) while the crops grow.

Edit: had to leave halfway through watching, but stores are open 24/7 but the npcs do go to sleep at night. And not a bad thing to do is run around town at night and collect those treasure piles.

I would save zone tokens up for everseeds for farming, and do try to keep it reasonable. It is very easy to get way too much farming going and not be able to manage it early on as you don't get sprinklers till the 3rd and 4th biomes for the materials to make them

  2. Don't worry about order, I have almost 65 hours in this game and have never gotten soft-locked.
Honestly, don't worry about anything; This game is so relaxing!
Also, as you upgrade your tools (from one type of ore to the next) they will start giving more forageables
Multiplayer is a lot of fun. Husband and I played a bit to see what it was like but we are playing our initial playthrough single player (but we only play at the same time as each other, it's a lot of fun)
And getting distracted is the best part of the game!
When making Luma's, it doesn't matter what type of Spirit that you use (Nature, Water, etc) it doesn't effect the Luma. I just used what I consistently had the most of (for me that was almost always the Nature ones)
Also, without a tool in hand, you can pet your Luma to get an extra essence. And if you get Super Luma Food, from the Mushroom Stalls around the world, you have unlimited feeding. It's a great way to get more essences later in game when you need more at a time

  3. This game…I love so much. I just finished all professions. I left fishing for the end to have an upgraded rod and the mini game is kinda fun at that point. I did cooking and brewing to start with. Such an amazing game! PS: Inventory is infinite so you do not need chests. Chests are mainly used for multiplayer to leave stuff for friends. I never built one. Also when you click SORT, it puts your sellables together BUT do not sell ectoplasm or meteorites yet (as you will need them later). In the temple, you can smash all urns and barrels with your whip. You rarely need any other tool but later on it will be useful to clear your path of stones and shrubs to run faster.

  4. yup very distracting game and those wood grouse are a pain as you progress through the areas lol i would suggest a second profession as its cheap … i usually take archeiology as you have to go through the temples / ruins anyway and its a good cash maker, ive made it to area 4 just but still got bits missing from the previous areas, one tip (not a spoiler) level up your whip to maximum you can its a great help
