This is how you can skip the entire tutorial for New World by Amazon Game Studios.
(note, like a moron I had my graphic settings set to low…)
To Skip, you have to receive the loot from the captain, once you eat the food, you can then proceed to skip the tutorial.

Upon further review, as soon as you stand up on the beach, you can click the button to skip the tutorial.
