This would be a variant on the 'beer can chicken' concept, which would be why Budweiser worked so well. It's very inoffensive and that prevents the formation of 'off' flavors during cooking.
Yeah I have even seen people using Lambrini here in the UK which I guess it's similar to the beer, just that it is more of a wine (ish) flavour instead.

Guga!!! I love your vids, energy and channels. so, my suggested experiment is….egg yolks. Cure a chicken, goose, and Ostrich egg yolk. Then shave the yolks on the steaks to see what the flavor profiles are like between the different eggs.
Another experiment may be to dry age in egg yolks…take it a step further using different yolks (chicken, goose, ostrich). Keep doing wonderful things. : )
I use a soda stream (to carbonize) chicken broth.
KFC is a pretty low bar anymore. They're not ( on average with few exceptional locations that still do it properly ) not that great. That said, I'm always excited for another one of your experiments!
