  21. The conmen bit is so weird. Like they put it together well and it makes sense and it's kinda eye-opening to see how people in these times could be swindled out of EVERYTHING but it's also like "woah how did we get from that (season 1) to this?"

  34. The comment one of you made about Season 2's tone being very different from Season 1 is accurate. Mainly because Season 1 follows pretty closely to Montgomery's books whereas Season 2 is pure creation except for the main characters. Everything from Gilbert on the ship to the grifters is fabricated for the series. I am not an AoGG purist at all, but the delineation was obvious for me, too. The purists are quite vocal about this adaptation saying Anne with an E is more like FanFiction than an adaptation from the book series. Personally, I am enjoying it with you three for the first time, watching one or two episodes ahead of your Reaction. Como siempre , you are doing a fantastic job.
