This game is so interesting and the monster variety is crazy in each area of the game, I can't wait for the full version! I put like 16 hours into the demo lol
Frenzied State is completely good. Your monster gets a slight boost for all stats and one more move per turn. The thing is that you can't choose when it happens it's random, also it doesn't last long. And of course enemies can get it too.
I would recomend to scout as many monters as you can. As soon as you can synthesize you'll be glad if have some more monsters for that. You'll basically never stop looking for a way to improve your team one little step after another. Because Dragon Quest Monsters games are just as tough as the main series, you're gonna get destroyed if you don't train a lot.
I sadly had to stop playing the demo after beating it due to possibly a bug where if I kept synthing my monsters the game would just outright crash. Still excited for the full release and looking forward to possibly more content for DQM
Going to look forward to that start monster guide from Ed. I got a puppet from my answers. While I know ed had like a dragon than he skip for the plant monster.
This demo is amazing, I only played very little of the Gameboy Color version. So this is the first time i really got to dive in i haven't finished this demo yet. Thanks for the great monster taming content. Keep up the great work.
The puns are always so good and fun in the dragon quest series, they get so creative with them a lot too heh. And as soon as you unlock fusion/train more your team can get SUPER strong even in the demo 👍
And the spells aficionados and Boosters are always good to have at least one of depending on what you want your monster to focus on. Attack Boost on physical attackers and wisdom/MP boost on your magic focusing monsters for sure will help in the long run especially since you can upgrade them through fusion too 🙂
I’ve put way too many hours into this demo lol, but there are tons of monsters available already. You can only get rank F and G monsters in the demo, but there are so many combos still. Some require quite a chain of synthesis to acquire. I was surprised that the Ganache Goodie (new chocolate croissant slime they revealed) is already available in the demo. It’s also used in one of the longest chains of synthesis I know of in the demo.

The Demo is really impressive and allows the player to do a lot. I think I did all I could within the demo
I love the demo.. played over 17 hours and played in the 3 areas available. I used synthesis many times and made some cool monsters.

Your game volume was pretty low compared to your voice this episode, but luckily the subtitles helped me follow along still!
DQM is one of my favorite series of all time and I’m excited to see you diving in!

With 26 talent points and only needing 23 for the first three moves the other 3 did go to waste…
is the game world related to dragon warrior monsters 2? I played that one as a kid

I learned recently there are rare Large versions of monsters too
