  1. I thought that was the exact same thing. They're using horrible lighting along with the fact that their settings are really low. Using mine on even sort of medium settings i"m able to see ray tracing and things that appear in Arkham Knight (not saying that it's a bad game at all but they are fake)

  2. I don't know if they're playing Suicide Squad on PS5 or PC with low settings, but the Arkham Knight footage looks the same as it does on my PS4, so I don't think they've done anything to its graphics settings.

  3. It's funny because these same type of videos (these games are so and so years apart) that came out whenever Gotham nights was released and you think that rocksteady would have really pushed it with suicide squad especially how you got to play as the bad guys and because of how Gotham nights went but I guess not but it's just funny I guess it's literally Gotham nights all over again

  4. Why'd this guy take the video so seriously πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ it's clearly a joke with the gameplay, no one likes the game. he probably believes in every article he ever read on The Onion πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  5. Dunno about you guys but we should not be making a big deal out of this. Pyro le good, right, but there's a difference between a scripted video and a man's unfiltered unscripted opinion about something and we shouldn't make a big deal out of it but, knowing the internet, that's pretty much impossible. I do get why Pyro mistook the video as being disingenuous; seeing a video comparing two video games apart from each other and actually playing the game is a very different experience so I get why he said that the game looks alot better than the video gave it credit for.

It's still a slop trash game at the end of the day, so I don't really care.

  6. The Suicide Squad footage at the very least looks like it's running in HDR but the capture is SDR. That's one thing that can lead to such washed out colors by crunching the contrast. Though I'm not saying that with 100% confidence, not everything looks as gray as it would with such cases.

  7. Completely agree that the dude behind that video could've done a fair comparison and SS would've still looked much much worse than AK.
It's like, they do themselves a disservice since people that want to defend SS might say that because of those purposefully worse comparisons the whole video is trash. Legit, hope that Crowbcat resurrects and makes a video on it, though.

  8. Dude, you're comparing the game at daytime with your PC at max setting to the game at night time on a compressed youtube video. And even if he did lower the settings a little, the game still looks so generic as fuck regardless so he didn't even need to be dishonest

  9. Not giving hate to pyro but the fight with harley at the end yeah he shows a fight versus 6 people but thats all the fights in Arkham if he wanted to he could have shown a fight with 15-20 guys cause in arkham a fight against 6 people IS a small fight. Also the bit he called a finisher was just a counter that ended a fight, as the game always does a slow mo for the final hit in a fight.

  10. Even if the comparison is dishonest, suicide squad's system requirements are much much higher and still look worse wtf. The industry has stagnated, compare arkam knight to a game 10 years before and see the difference

  11. Tbh i want people who critize the graphics to make a multiplayer game with the same graphics as Arkham and not turn a PC into a jet turbine. As if graphics matter cuz ER doesnt look that stunning graphics wise and its still better than 90% of the AAA game marketπŸ’€

  12. I watched this video and didn't actually know how suicide squad played and it looked insanely unfair in a lot of shots specially the gameplay segments. Just because a game is subjectively bad doesn't mean you need to show in the worst light possible to convince people how bad it is.

  13. also can't be compared because SQKTJL runs in a server so basically were playing online not offline so obviously we can't be always assured of that maximum performance where arkham knight is an offline game but still comparing that HARLEY footage is not a justice because in knight she is playable in challenge maps meaning only a particular area is rendering and obviously it doesn't have to render everything else aside of character models but for suicide squad it's an open world footage so obviously can't be comparable also since knight is totally an offline game meaning you can install mods so maybe he put some mods in knight to crank it even more better but i don't think so because the vanilla version is actually pretty good and it has official NVIDIA support so again can't be comparable.

  14. 6:31 What the hell is Pyrocynical talking about? For one, he already said the other one was in an Underpass, meaning it'd be DARK, while he's in the broad daylight m the rocks in the one he's criticizing do have shadows among others.
