These Iguanas Have An Unusual Mating Tactic | South Pacific | BBC Earth

Crested iguanas were discovered on Fiji in 1979, and since then we’ve learned a lot about their behaviour, including their strange mating rituals. But how exactly did they end up on such a remote island in the first place?

  1. 波の内側の世界、素敵💕
    ずっと漂ってみたい。。。

    イグアナの独特なフォルムと、存在感に何故かすごく惹かれる❤
    あの無機質でいてお茶目な雰囲気って、人では絶対に作れない😊

  2. The trick to surviving and flourishing for animals is to stay clear of humans, this has been true for probably over at least twenty thousand years.

  3. There were a few iguanas in Waimanalo on Oahu Island Hawaii these were someone's pets that got loose or was probably let go by someone pet but the iguana was a 5 feet or so but was caught in a trap it is illegal to own iguanas or non venomous snakes in Hawaii Hawaii has strict laws for illegal animals hamsters iguanas snakes vampire parrot piranhas just to name a few but very interesting on iguanas in there home land I enjoy watching BBC Earth on any subject of different animals ! Thank you BBC Earth

  4. I didn’t see any mating tactics in this video, don’t get me wrong, I appreciate seeing the cinematography of this channel, but why you gotta click bait us like that?

  5. The wave and sky opening shot is yes, sensory confusing! But the underwater footage of billowing waves and vortexes could almost be placed side-by-side of tornadic vortexes footages – Nature is mind-boggling-amazing! (Oddly, they never actually got to the mating tactic part, but I guess that's what they thought needed for click bait.) Loved it all ! No bait needed 🙂
