THESE Disneyland rides (+ more) CLOSED when it rains

A rainy day at Disneyland is one of my favorite days at Disneyland. However, Disneyland closes 7 or more attractions when it rains. Well, which rides are closed during inclement weather (per Disneyland’s website), and also what other fun things are cancelled or shut down due to rain or hail or wind or lightning?

There are additional attractions that are not listed on Disneyland’s website that I find are often closed during rainy weather. Casey Jr. Circus Train is usually closed. In addition to Dumbo, Autopia, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Astro Orbitor are usually closed when rain is heavy.

I spent hours curating the finest b-roll I could possibly find for this short, little video. I give credit and much love and gratitude to these following channels for their beautiful footage used in this video: @jsland @LMG Vids @Best Life and Beyond @Provost Park Pass @FreshBaked! @Theme Park Steve @mouseinfo @DocumentDisney @ResortTV1 @Inside Disney @DFBGuide @Pixie Archive Thank you so much for all you do and for all the joy you bring!

And thank YOU so very much for watching! I really hope you know how much you mean me.

All of my love,

Leesa 🙂

  1. Wow! I never been to Disneyland as a guest on a raining day before. I think I would also love it, only because there will be less crowds…I can feel like I have the park to myself. I can really appreciate the details and creativity put into each ride and settle into the cozy feeling the parks offer. I was actually worried you were going to say Splash Mountain closes, since that's one of my favorite rides surprisingly. Are you excited for Splash Mountain becoming a Princes and the Frog themed ride? I'm super excited.

Btw, who is Kenny? (You referenced this name when discussing your rain fashion look). To me you look like Coraline herself since she had a yellow rain coat.
