These are the Days (& Dogs) of our Lives. (& how I plough the driveway)

Talk about a last minute video! Whipped this up the day before! 🤪
I’ve really struggled to work on stuff lately – feels like one step forward, 5 steps backwards. We have had SO much snow come down over the past couple of weeks we are barely keeping up. Bobcat broke down, ATV broke down, trees down everywhere, snow, snow, SNOW!! Holidays, family visits, super short days, 2 extra dogs for 2 weeks, some Nursing shifts, and Leory had his surgery 10 days ago (neuter, a ton of toofers, and lumps and bumps removed). It was a bit of a rough time for him but he’s doing better now (his main issue is his worsened fear of Steve simply because Steve is a man, and Leroy was abused by a man).

Anyway, this isn’t my favorite type of video to put out there, but I do know that a lot of people enjoy even the less exciting videos, and I didn’t wanna miss two weeks in a row! (youtube is kinda like a child to me – can’t let it be alone for too long! 😝).

I do have things I need to do, and some catching up on my ‘projects’, so just gotta get er done! right?!? 😬

Thanks for watching,
Wishing everyone a continued lovely holiday season.
See you in the next video!

  1. Hello Michelle. I have seen different types of snow blowers, but I think this is the first on a Bobcat. To prevent Steve from taking all of the ladders back home from the Fort, perhaps construct one from the downed or severely leaning trees and somehow attach it to the Fort for snow removal. I think the two of you chose that place to live because you like the snow and its included activities. Have good days!

  4. I had no idea it snowed that much in BC. Thats as bad as lake effect snow here in NY. It doesn't look like the fun, puffy snow either. It looks like the snow that makes you have a freaking stroke clearing the stairs and turns to ice the first time the temp falls 2degrees. I could deal with it as long as I had a tractor and blower like you do.

  5. I'm sure it gets old dealing with all the snow but hopefully this means once it melts, all the lakes will get filled back up. Hopefully your cabin property got an equal amount of snow. Have to find the silver linings in every cloud!
