  1. I disagree about setting expectations low about the anime. Story wise it might not be perfect for lore enthusiasts but visually, if you like the characters, you'll enjoy seeing them animated.
Ufotable is such a good animation studio. Like you said once on stream, the animation carried or at least made the demon slayer anime so popular. So even if the story is not the best, the animations will be worth it for fans of genshin character's design. And of course it's a commercial, like fate anime or pokemon anime, persona anime, Takt Op destiny and so on. But it can still be fun to watch. Technically the regions in genshin are also commercials for the characters because you don't buy exploration. But they're fun on their own.

  2. I do fking hope the anime don't follow the game's standard when it comes to the writing. It'll be fking sucks if they copy pasted the game's writing… that shit's horrendously bad. But it's ufotable we're talking about, so I do have a high hope.

  3. It would be Awesome if Whenever Nilou applies hydro to an enemy affected with dendro she creates a "bountiful core" instead of a "normal dendro core" regardless of the teams elements, and the "bountiful cores" wouldn't explode right away leaving time for reactions.

So "bountiful cores" would do a lot more damage overall which means if you let it explode on its own or better yet triggered Hyper bloom or Burgeon they will deal massive damage sense they're considered "bountiful cores" and not ordinary dendro cores. Maybe that would be a bit too OP? Idk Thats What I wish Nilou was.

  5. 32:11 What he says here is so true. I first heard a track with a really crazy bassline (sounds like the drum is like a kendang or more likely a similar drum from South Asia) when I was walking around the caravan settlement in the bottom left corner of the map and it was such a sick experience.

  6. what do you think of the new f2p spear on Xianling? I dont have dragon bane and that one looks like an upgrade over the Inazuma one. I also have quite a lot of EM in my kit, so i feel like the atk substat would be worth, but still cant decide

  7. The Nilou part was so validating I keep seeing people defending how restrictive it is and it's low-key driving me nuts. As you said they could've kept the cores passive always be active, just better with the extra hydro/dendro units. This would've kept her balanced (as I assume balancing and keeping her from being op is the main concern here) while still giving people SOME freedom like Gorou.

  8. Albedo was my first 5 star and flex tape is a great description for how I've used him. He was always on one of my teams until until I got enough characters to build proper teams.

He's got his own team now with Gorou and C6 Noelle, but I love how he can be thrown into any odd team for damage and shields to carry fun, but weak characters.

I'm so happy that I chose to spend my first fates on his banner and not Eula's, and I still only pull 5 stars that offer great flexibility rather than ones that give you big single team damage.

  9. I like your take on Nilou's passive design much better than what they did Zajef. I'll admit I'll be pulling her because waifu reasons, but I fully expect she won't feel good at all until Nahida comes out. In the meantime I can use her to do my commissions and stare in awe at how pretty she is, which is good enough for me!

  10. Don't listen to him. Venti is NEVER situational. You will clear content faster up to 11th floor EVERY time no matter the Abyss content, and even can be used for 12th if you play against most kind of Fatuis. Why do you think enemies spawn so far away from each other for so many patches? That's right, because of Venti. Also Ayaka, Ganyu, Ayato, Venti is the best morgana team you will ever get to play and given how Venti gives back energy for the element that was swirled in his burst, you will be spamming bursts all the time given you have an OKish energy recharge.

TLDR: Don't listen to stupid theorycrafters(remember Tenten in video saying Zhongli does not add any value to your account now that Dendro released? :kekwhands:), get Venti.

  11. i see a candace + ayato team, bc ayato uses the hydro resonance then normal ATK bonus, i don't know if its gonna be that good against yun jin but i think is a bit better bc of hydro resonance, still ayato hypercarry teams aren't as good you usually use him as a xiangling slave (childe has that position already), or kind of freeze teams with ganyu (with ayaka is just not that good its way better focusing on boosting ayaka cryo dmg with mona or kokomi tenacity than just randomly putting ayato.
