Theodore Roosevelt National Park South Unit Ep 15

In today’s video we explore the South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Theodore Roosevelt National Park is located in North Dakota, USA, and is divided into three units: the South Unit, the North Unit, and the Elkhorn Ranch Unit. The South Unit is the most frequently visited of the three, and it is located near the town of Medora.

The South Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park is known for its rugged badlands terrain, which features colorful rock formations, steep canyons, and rolling hills. Visitors can hike, bike, or drive along the park’s scenic roads to explore this unique landscape and see a variety of wildlife, including bison, pronghorns, bighorn sheep, and mule deer. We came across a herd of wild hoses during our visit.
