If the Pope is successful in changing Church teaching then we would no longer be in communion with those Catholics of the past– how does that make the Church one and universal? I know the Orthodox have an answer to this conundrum, but how do current Churchmen explain this?

Thank HEAVEN'S Pope Francis struck Bishop Strickland out of the Texas diocese! The hate was tangible coming from that man. He sounded like Protestants who hate the Catholic Church. Pope Francis is a good Pope, trying his best, directed by the Holy Spirit, promoting unity. Strickland did the opposite. Thank you, Holy Father!

It does seem that there is a creeping subversion of the essential character of the church going on. In the most simple form, I could say that anyone wanting to convert to the Church would be impressed by the fact that the substance and form of the Church per se are at the same time gradually vanishing from discernible view. The consistent and readily accessible doctrine, sacraments, documents, and reliable authority of the church were a main reason for my own personal conversion as an adult in military service, previously infatuated with existentialism, but always in the search of the real meaning of life.

Praying for an individual such as Francis is like praying for Lucifer as he organized his rebellious angels against God before they were thrown into Hell. Francis is using his free will to consciously defy God and he is well aware of what his goal is. Pray for the fools Francis has deceived instead because Francis has already chosen Hell for himself and anyone stupid enough to follow him.
