I'm happy to announce that once Woolie finished HL2 Episode 2, Half-Life 3 will be announced by Valve. That's how the logic of this world works.
So about those tall boys: they're technically flying enemies like the gunship and the dropship. The game handles the physics of their legs through entities called "bone followers". That's pretty metal.
