CROSSOVERS! A video idea I've had for YEARS is finally all together and it sure ended up chunky. What are some other crossovers you think I should look at in the future? I tried to get as many as possible but there's only… so much time…

Sorry this one took so long, I got sick for a bit there and had an unfortunate family incident. Tell people you love them when you can and take care of yourselves!

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

  2. You probably won’t make a video about this but China has a bunch of region exclusive mobile games that crossover with franchises that are either only famous in China or are actually well established famous global franchises and put them in the same game.

The one I can recall the most is the game Contra Returns which is officially licensed by Konami and developed by Tencent. They have a bunch of existing contra characters and OCs mixed in, but have included bizarre characters this year including Kaede from a obscure NES action platformer called Shadow of The Ninja made by Natsume, and immediately after her they included Michelangelo from fucking tmnt. Not even the rest of the cast it’s JUST MIKEY lmao.

What’s the reason they did this you may ask? Simple they are all popular in China and are made to appeal exclusively to the Chinese market.

  3. Your complaint about Minecraft feeling laggy probably stems from how the game works on a fundamental level. When you start a singleplayer world, you actually start a multiplayer world hosted on your machine that only you can join. This means that you, as a client, connect to yourself, as a server. This leads to a small amount of built-in latency.

  4. Alex Kidd in Shinobi World is actually the only good Alex Kidd game. It's actually kind of fun, especially compared to the other A.K games, which isn't saying much.

I instantly ignored everything about that character when I saw the North American cover art for the Mega Drive A.K in the Enchanted Castle: basically they redesigned the character's horrible monkey-like face into a horrible cherub face with elephantiasis.
Seriously, I saw the box art and even when there were barely any Sega games in a store, I never asked the clerk to look at the back of the box, because that horrible cover looked like it was designed to sell the game to weird pervy old men.
Even touching that game's case, I would have felt like a budding (I was 11 at the time) paedophile.
Worst cover art for any Mega Drive game ever. Possibly worst 16 bit cover art, and no, I'm not considering the Phalanx cover art, that was FUCKING SICK. Old banjo 'billy is fine with me.

  5. Vampire Survivors is a game where you survive… from vampires. I know, big shocker, right? It's actually something of an idle game because gameplay for the most part is just moving around and auto attacking, but since the enemies get harder to kill and more numerous, you need to be sure to keep up with the demand by leveling up. Aesthetically, however, it's clearly an affectionate parody of Castlevania, with your first character being an homage to Simon Belmont. Of course, none of that is the crazy part. The crazy part is that there's even a direct crossover with its inspiration, Castlevania. The Ode to Castlevania is the best crossover with the whip slingers I've played alongside the Dead Cells crossover! But that isn't the only crossover they did. There's also a crossover with Konami's Conta series… and Among Us for some reason. It turned the silly social deduction game into a horde survival game where you can potentially play as Antonio Belpasse, Leon Belmont, Bill Rizer and more, fighting crewmate monsters by calling Emergency Meetings on them, hence the DLC's title.

  6. I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed how much TMNT is shoved in things now. I realized that the day I saw an ad for them in State of Survival. (ew)
Also, the full Lego Dimensions experience sounds like one hell of a business expense! lol

  7. Gacha game, Girls' Frontline has had some weird crossover, both with other games and with random anime.
As far as I remember they've done:
Guilty Gear/Blazblue in a single collab
VA-11 Hall-A (They even reran this event a second time)
    DJMAX Respect
    The Division
    Gunslinger Girl
    Zombieland Saga
    Dropkick On My Devil!
    Ghost in the Shell
    and Hitoribocchi

Somehow they've never done Girls und Panzer though, even after they added actual playable tanks to the game.

  8. Came here to see Warrios All-Stars and was not disappointed. It truly is a competent musou and a great time. With a massive roster and a stupidly high amount of different and secret endings.

  9. Fighting Games have always been my jam so as unexciting as it seems to some Akuma in CoTA is my favorite crossover ever. It just blew my teenage mind, a Street Fighter character in this badass X-Men Fighter? Love both IPs and my God was this incredible at the time. And the start of something very near and dear to my heart. Still playing that game now nearly 3 decades later.

  10. I have PlayStation all stars on the Vita. I really enjoyed it. I felt like it had potential. I wish they could have kept it going. I mean maybe they'll bring it back if ultimate really is the last smash Brothers then they'll have a market for it.
