@1:08 mention is previous videos if you dont want to put signs to help with navigating in the base

Btw the white question marks on the map are for points of interest for things like achievements, also all the rovers for one achievements are east
Also currently fridges and storage units are programmed to be the same, just different models is the only difference
HQ comes with antenna pre-installed. It also has more station placement spots than other buildings 4 down &8 up(12). Due to shape and collision you can only place 4 work benches upstairs maximum and then 4 other things like refrigerators. I use it as a workbench and storage building. You can turn off the power for the whole thing using antennas with remote controller in inventory. That's for when you aren't using it to save power, and not have other sections power feed from this building. I use it as a stand alone for this purpose until I have a ton of excess power.
Antenna allows remote power control of base sections, and drone and rover controllers.
Reloading resets randomizer for items that spawn. It's not very random and always starts at the same value. Why you only ever find beet and potato seeds. Known issue.
(Slight repeat of comment on last video partly for people and more info)
It's not that you have to travel 10+km from base for the other seeds. Traveling in 3rd person when exploring causes items to start spawned in the ground. So when you reload because the items loaded below ground you get the same things over and over.
So as you figured out grinding a whole building to get items to drop is a bad idea as most fall through the terrain when they fall. Bad when seed hunting.
The radars aren’t for the map and “fog of war” they extend the drone range and yes they require power
You poop in the toilet in the bathroom and take fertilizer from it. It also has a sink you can get water from. The egg is a Xenomorph egg, from the movie ALIEN. Some tablets unlock 3D pintables. If you leave the structures alone and only scrap the outside stuff like solar panels, well, pump, etc things like food and circuit boards will respawn after a while.
Dust devils follow you, when they occur leave base and it will not ruin anything. That’s only if you want to play that way. Make sure base is out of FOV
Seems from reading the description the antenna remote control is a range booster for the remote control that controls the rover.
i think you have to search that area for the item, no spoilers….
Also there is a blue socket thing in the canteen.
The grey outline is for "interactables". So basically anything you can touch. it doesn't make sense how only half the time they show as grey and half they time they dont. That's annoying,
The question mark with a big bubble around it is a POI. The POI could be anywhere in the bubble. its usually hiding at the side of a hill or in a creator. Could be an old mars rover that was sent by NASA in real life. Just little things that make this game a learning experience as well as fun. LOL
Teleporting vehicles not in the game yet is it, so go for bathroom – drink and poop.
The storage cabinet is supposed to be fixed in the next patch
Also the teleporting vehicles aren’t in yet, and when it’s added I believe you can only teleport them between big rocket crushers connected with antennas
The one you thought is a tablet was likely a desk mat….that bugs me too that stuff that is not loot is highlighted.

When she gives you an alert, just leave in the Rover….go at least 10 km away and your base will be the same as when you left !!!!!…….the Cave — you CAN harvest ALL the uranium IF you're fast and without injuries…..you're going to need it anyway……as Always, You're crushing it my Brother !!!!!
The Bathroom IS for water AND to collect your PooP for fertilizer for trees and plants !!!!
This just in: keep using the tablets that say all blueprints unlocked. use them again and again and again. eventually they will give you something. one steam poster said it took like 50 uses but it finally gave him the large dome. Multiple replies reported the same thing.
nThis is just speculation but it might help to only have one tablet in your inventory when you do this if that's possible.
Again there are two different color question marks, one for tabs and one for POIs
The circular vents actually give you a small engine each when you grind them…

Was that a chemistry point in the top bar after 3 mins?
I had a tracking marker show up high in the sky before too. Not sure if it’s relatable but it was a question mark with a radius. When I reached the question mark, the area I was in was kind of a crater or a valley surrounded by mountains and there were a bunch of antenna all around the edges of it. I would’ve stayed out and explored it more, but it was back before I took parts for a well out with me and I was almost out of water in both bottles. So I’m guessing there’s either just interesting locations (Easter egg type stuff) or something of benefit you have to find inside the radius.
Just like if stuff underground, if you save and reload the floating stuff will be at ground level.
There’s usually an Easter Egg like a drone, little rovers and I even found Elon’ Tesla that had an Occupy Mars license plate.
