Its just that because sociology is more of a mainstream thing, that aspect of gender studies that involves lived experience is more common knowlege, and the part that is specifically related to how the nonbinary nature of humans interacts with health and the physical world is more obscure, since it's primarily focused on by just doctors.

But we understand maybe 1% about how brain activaty influences the perceived reality of animals. Same goes for humans, that's why comparing them is an exercise in futility. Have a mantis shrimp explain a new color to you, see how well that goes. Once we do understand these subjects fully (through science, duh) we can probably cure things like depression by snapping our fingers, digitize or minds, and so on. That's why it's such a giant field of study. As Vaush pointed out this has nothing to do with how we treated animals historically and the whole "argument" feels like something chatGPT might put out.

He likes the aesthetics of knowing things but if he truly were fascinated with this world and its mysteries he'd understand that the reason we ask questions is to find answers to them and that a reliable method to get these answers will give more satisfying answers AND open up a big old host of more questions.
