Our man analyses all the action and mentions some exciting horses in defeat – most notably runner-up Laurel, who looks an exciting four-year-old for 2023.
Angus also likes the look of Imperial Emperor, another beautifully-bred juvenile trained by Charlie Appleby for Godolphin, and the Dubawi colt out of Belmont Gold Cup winner Zhukova is certainly one to note for next year.
