THE UNTOLD TALE OF ADAM AND EVE'S DAUGHTERS: UNVEILING HIDDEN HISTORY

The daughters of the primal pair, Adam and Eve. In this scriptural journey, we tread beyond the well-trodden paths of the well-known Cain and Abel, into the realm of lesser-heralded figures. The scripture of Genesis, that hallowed to me, unveils a cryptic passage that hints at the existence of these daughters. In Genesis chapter 5, verses 4 and 5, it is revealed that Adam, the first man, lived for eight centuries, during which he begot both sons and daughters. Alas, the Holy Scriptures leave us bereft of their names, as if veiled in the mist of time. Yet, from the sands of ancient Jewish traditions emerges a whisper of their identities. The Book of Jubilees, often likened to the “Little Genesis,” offers solace to the inquisitive soul. This ancient manuscript, dated to around 700 BCE, illuminates the forgotten daughters of Adam and Eve, lending us their names, though faintly etched upon the parchment.
